DMCBH Open House: Neurology Fluid Biomarker Network

Dr. Cheryl Wellington and key members of the Neurology Fluid Biomarker Network invite you to attend an open house on Wednesday, June 28th at the Djavad Mowafaghian Centre for Brain Health to discuss the research and clinical implementation of neurology fluid biomarkers.
Join this open house to discuss active and planned projects involving transdisciplinary research in dementia and neurodegeneration, neurotrauma, neuroinflammatory disease and cerebrovascular disease across the lifespan. Background information on the analytical platforms available for translational research studies and information on new assays of interest to the neurology community will be provided.
The goal is to learn more about the interests and needs among our network to facilitate use of biomarkers to enable early detection of neurodegeneration, improve risk stratification, diagnosis, prognosis and monitoring for neurological disorders, and increase equitable neurology care for diverse patients (particularly rural and remote), whose access to neuroimaging or invasive neuromonitoring resources may be limited.
